The 10-day contract signing of PF Derrick Williams now makes sense.  ESPN just broke news that All-Star Kevin Love will be out 6 weeks after getting his knee scoped.

Love is posting 20 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists this game.  Love was also rumored to be on the trading block, especially when LeBron asked the Cavs to get a playmaking point-guard.

The Magic have traded Serge Ibaka to the Raptors for Terrance Ross and 2017 First-Round Pick, according to The Vertical.  Ibaka was supposed to take another step when he moved to the Magic from the Thunder this offseason. The Magic are one of the teams who will most likely be in the lottery this draft.

The Raptors, however, are looking like a top team in the East and needed to make a trade to help their chances. Ibaka is defensive presence, a shot blocker, and a big body to help the Raptors.  Ibaka: 11.9 points, 1.1 assists, 6.8 rebounds this season.  Ross: 10.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 0.7 assists per game.
