The NHL Awards were handed out at The Palms in Las Vegas Nevada. Comedian Jay Mohr served as host for the second straight year. His jokes poked innumerable fun at the expense of the Edmonton Oilers, who said “win 30 games and you won’t be in the monologue next year.” He poked fun at Alexandre Burrows, the Vancouver riots, Tim Thomas, and many others.
