The Maryland Terrapins swept the season series with the Nebraska Cornhuskers at the Xfinity Center.

They played back to back games due to the Pandemic and Maryland won the first game 64-50.

The Terps were led by Aaron Wiggins who had a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Jairus Hamilton came off the bench to score 15 points and collect five rebounds.

In the second game, Maryland built a 20 point second half lead and went on to win 79-71.

Guard Eric Ayala led the way with a career-high 24 points while also snagging seven rebounds.

Wiggins helped out with 22 points, five rebounds and three assists.

Hamilton knows his role off the bench and finished with 13 points hitting three of five three-pointers.

Maryland had a 40-33 lead at halftime and built their lead to 72-52 on a Wiggins layup with 5:34 to play in the contest.

Nebraska made a run but Maryland held on and was able to clear their bench in the end improving to (13-10, 7-9 Big Ten).

Maryland shot 48 percent from the field while holding Nebraska to 43 percent shooting from the floor.

Nebraska outshot the Terps 46 percent to 39 percent from three-point-land.

Maryland made eight of 12 free throws while the Cornhuskers were 10 of 12 from the charity stripe.

The teams tied in the rebounding department 30-30.

In the second game Nebraska was led in scoring by Teddy Allen who had 25 points. Dalano Banton led the team with seven rebounds to go along with 11 points in a losing effort for the (5-14, 1-11) Cornhuskers.
